The Beatles Story Liverpool England
It’s been a ‘Hard Days Night’ is playing as we wander into The Beatles Story.
Once inside we learn about where the boys grew up. Schools, first bands and general youth of The Beatles.
It shows posters and a stage remake of their days in Cavern.
You can choose to use the headphones as you go around, but we chose not to.
Last time we did this we found it a bit overwhelming, so we use chose to read and talk as we went along.
We had fun at ‘Abbey Road’.
There is a remake of Eleanor Rigby’s grave.
We talk about the drug era and general 1960’s trends of the time. Here was Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band
Then there is Penny Lane, and we have a bit of fun here.
Next is The Yellow Submarine. Even my 9-year-old knows the song, so we have a sing-along.
It is amazing. Most kids his age wouldn’t know The Beatles, so it is a good education.
I love this advert!
We really loved the last room in the Story. It is a tribute to John Lennon.
We end with wise words, a cuddle, and sharing our love on this world journey.
“….. And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make ……”
You can read about the rest of our day here in Lovely Liverpool.
