Last time I was in the Ipswich area I discovered this fantastic massive reserve right besides a river.
Huge open spaces, plenty of space all to yourself, and ideal to visit if you have a dog.

With a ‘Covid-19 Hard Lockdown’ suddenly imposed on SE Queensland today, I had to cancel my dinner arrangements out & scramble to make dinner at home.
It was time for an inventive meal - just the two of us.

I created a beautiful Chicken Penne Rigati with Mediterranean Vegetables & Creamy Truffle Sauce.
It was amazing & my son really loved it too!
It paired beautifully with the Hidden Sea Pinot Grigio.

My heart goes out to all the businesses that are affected by lockdowns around Australia.
Last week staff shortages during Sydney’s biggest ever lockdown in NSW meant our QLD delivery couldn’t be filled from Hello Fresh.
I wonder how much food was wasted, wages lost, and folks who went without deliveries around Australia - all because of something outside their control?

Thankfully, because I’d been out for several nights and had not cooked dinners, we could stretch our meals into the next week.

I couldn’t rest having some fun with this pretty painted one, and the building behind is a fabulous art gallery with a rooftop bar (where I took my city photo I posted).

Did you know a koala is NOT a bear, but they are considered the most cuddly animal in Australia?
In real life, they have sharp claws, snd aren’t cuddly at all and make the most revolting sounds in mating season you’ve ever heard!
Meanwhile, I’d rather stick with some crazy, manmade statues to cuddle and ride on the back of.
