The property is fenced at the boundary but is not dog-proof (nor roo proof or deer-proof so keep your dog on a lead please).

Located in the gateway to Clare Valley in South Australia, you’ll find the convenience of a supermarket, and most shopping and dining wants nearby – all within easy walking distance to the motel, so great for the daily dog walks.
Auburn was established in 1849, and quite a lovely little town.
A great place to bring your bikes and go cycling too.

One of my favourite dog-friendly places in SA is Pine Country Caravan Park in Mount Gambier. They have recently designated one of their cabins for dogs, giving it a fence and a kennel to help keep our furry friends safe and happy. They have a large dog run so the dogs can have a play, but best of all they have doggy day care! There is a special area where dogs can be left safely while the owners go off and do things where they can’t take the dog. So much better than leaving them somewhere and hoping for the best!
These are great guides! I travel with my dog (well, now 2 dogs) and am always looking for dog-friendly options. Now, just need to figure out how to easily get into AU with them from Europe! Haha, thanks for sharing!
This is great. As more of us start to take our dogs on vacation there will be more accommodations. I like to find one that has a large area for walking the dog and some natural places for the dog to walk to.
As someone with a dog, we are always looking for pet-friendly travel accommodations. We look for hotels that also have pet-friendly dining options. It can be a pain staying at a hotel but not having anywhere to eat because of our furry friend.
I can’t even imagine taking my pup to Australia, but it would be amazing! I live in Florida (US) and I’m still trying to get him use to riding 20 minutes to the beach. He’s a bit high-strung. But how wonderful it would be to get to the point I could take him on amazing trips like this.
