In our first year after we started our journey, we heard from a lady in Italy who was following our blog.

We became Facebook friends.

And, we chatted every now and then on messenger.

When we told her of our plans to come to Italy, she and her family invited us to stay!

Us – two strangers they had never met, and it was just lovely.

We really enjoyed the time with their family and went on great outings.

And the nicest thing  – we became friends.
