What do you look for in pet-friendly accommodation?
Do you have any great places you’d suggest we plan a stay at next?
One of my favourite dog-friendly places in SA is Pine Country Caravan Park in Mount Gambier. They have recently designated one of their cabins for dogs, giving it a fence and a kennel to help keep our furry friends safe and happy. They have a large dog run so the dogs can have a play, but best of all they have doggy day care! There is a special area where dogs can be left safely while the owners go off and do things where they can’t take the dog. So much better than leaving them somewhere and hoping for the best!
These are great guides! I travel with my dog (well, now 2 dogs) and am always looking for dog-friendly options. Now, just need to figure out how to easily get into AU with them from Europe! Haha, thanks for sharing!
This is great. As more of us start to take our dogs on vacation there will be more accommodations. I like to find one that has a large area for walking the dog and some natural places for the dog to walk to.
As someone with a dog, we are always looking for pet-friendly travel accommodations. We look for hotels that also have pet-friendly dining options. It can be a pain staying at a hotel but not having anywhere to eat because of our furry friend.
I can’t even imagine taking my pup to Australia, but it would be amazing! I live in Florida (US) and I’m still trying to get him use to riding 20 minutes to the beach. He’s a bit high-strung. But how wonderful it would be to get to the point I could take him on amazing trips like this.
I loved to know about this pet friendly accommodation in South Australia! I live in Barcelona and want to visit the country soon wit our dog.
This is such a great guide for traveling with dogs! I think I mostly look for clean places that will allow dogs.
We are actually just looking at getting a dog and wondering how it will affect trips in future with the kids! Love reading articles like this – gives me plenty of hope for adventures ahead.
This is really useful as we are planning on visiting my brother in South Australia soon and we have a little pug we want to take with us!
