Our goal for February is to be ‘feeling fit, fabulous, and to be having fun!’

Just a reminder to keep up the fitness in February. It’s been a bit tricky here because we’ve had so much ☔️ rain.
But come rain or shine, my son has been doing his laps in the pool.
.▬▬▬.
We are also focusing on our internal health with Medlab nutritional supplements.
And even if we have the odd treat on the weekend that’s OK.
It’s back to Monday with loads of fresh fruits apple 🍎 🍉 🍏 🍌 and vegetables 🌽🥕 🌶 .
Remember - at least 3 colours in your dinner plate, and 5 servings of vegetables & 3 servings of fruit every day.

It’s great when food isn’t taken too seriously. We discovered a new dining experience on Saturday night and had a great night!
▬▬▬
Originally from the Philippines, these two ex-airline staff now cook up the tastiest Buffalo Wings and Hamburgers on the Gold Coast.
Flavours from many countries in the world grace their menu. There’s even vegetarian burgers 🍔 too!
▬▬▬
We love having family nights out where we can talk about our week, have some fun and I can relax with a red 🍷or white 🍸wine.
And because the light rail is nearby there’s no bother in me needing to find a park.
▬▬▬

It’s been a tough week for me in so many ways, but the love of a puppy sure helps me get through and he brings us so much happiness.

Oscar (AKA Exploradog) has been feeling very housebound with all the rain ☔️ we’ve been having so I took him out for a walk/run yesterday anyway.
He came back a muddy mess, but a warm bath fixed that.
.▬▬▬.
I wish we could just wash our problems away just as easy as this! I’d definitely pour them all down the drain.
.▬▬▬.
But Sunday is here and the start to a new week.
I’m hoping and praying I resolve some problems from last week without too much expense and it’s a great week.

CHOP CHOP turns one, and we were there to help celebrate this amazing food hall’s 1st birthday celebration.
▬▬▬
It was a difficult decision as there were so many restaurants, bars and eateries to choose from.
But every kid, big or small loves a sushi train, so we headed in for Japanese.
▬▬▬
Sitting around the conveyor belt as all the delicious plates pass us by also meant that we were about to watch as dishes were prepared.
▬▬▬
It was lots of fun, immaculately clean, and the food was fresh and tasty.
And the best part was that we enjoyed quality family time together as a Mum and son.

Christmas dinners, school holidays vacations, New Year celebrations, catching up with friends, plus birthday drinks🥤 🍸have been back-to-back events of over-indulgence for us.
.▬▬▬.
Now it’s time to settle back into a healthy routine and to get back to feeling our very best.
.▬▬▬.
So, my son is heading to the gym; we are both taking walks on the beach 🏖; walking Oscar 🐕 along the river; swimming laps in the pool 🏊‍♂️ ; eating loads of fruit 🍇 🍈 🍉 & veggies 🥕 🌶 🌽 ; and having daily doses of Medlab (clinical premium innovative supplements, probiotics, rehydration and metabolic stabilisers).
Plus, we’re having our meals sitting and enjoying our tropical surroundings and away from technology.

It’s been an extremely humid week, and Oscar can be found at nearly any time of day in his fur coat lounging around on the tiled bathroom floors.
Because, when you’re hot, you’re hot!

After finishing all his immunisations Oscar (AKA Exploradog) has the vets all-clear to explore our local area.

He’s a bit like a furry ping-pong ball on a lead when he has his walks, bouncing all over the place!
