If you want to be in the picture, here is the place for you need to go.
The latest craze to hit is 3D Art in Paradise Bangkok.
We originally found out about 3D Art in Paradise Bangkok by ‘Googling’ the ‘top things to do in Bangkok for kids’, and when we saw how fun it looked, we decided we wanted to go.
3D Art in Paradise Bangkok was a little away from the main shopping area of Bangkok, but we just used public transport to get to the area. It is located on the 4th floor of the rather quiet Esplanade Shopping Mall.
This is a new fad.
When you enter the new 3D Art in Paradise Bangkok you first deposit your shoes, and also deposited my handbag, leaving us free to have fun.
The floor is glossy, and it is a shiny and spotless 2 story gallery that is packed with very professional paintings.
Visitors can use the markers on the floor to line up where to stand to take the best photographs. Staff helped us too, and we also found we were ‘camera swapping’ with others, which meant we started to interact with them, and make new friends – I liked that.
The 3D Art in Paradise Bangkok is referred to by the locals as the ‘Trick-eye Museum’ or ‘3D Museum’.
3D Art in Paradise Bangkok is fabulous, and we spent hours there. It is great fun for couples, friends, families, groups, school students, and especially for kids.
Did you know I’m now famous? I’m on the cover of TIME Magazine !!!
Part of the pleasure of visiting is to stand back and admire some of the pieces of artwork, and also the illusions that are readily available to interact with.
So if the kids are driving you up the wall, then why not spent an afternoon here at The 3D Art in Paradise Bangkok.
We loved it so much, we also visited the 3D Art Museum in Langkawi, Malaysia the following week.
This is one of my favorite photos. One of the staff suggested our pose, and I liked the way there were suggestion posters at some points to give ideas on how to take some fun photograph poses.
When we first walked in, one of the staff helped us with this photo. There were lots of props and I think it is really fantastic!
But this robot hand is Explorason’s favorite.
Having just left Africa I loved this one too.
