The architecturally stunning W Istanbul (by Marriott) is located in the centre of the historic Akaretler Row Houses in Instanbul, Turkiye. Positioned perfectly in an upscale neighbourhood overflowing with everything you need from restaurants, cafes, and design & art galleries.
We loved the location of the W Istanbul. It was so easy to explore the local area of Besiktas. In my usual style, I wandered the nearby streets and found the window shopping a delight. This area is filled with upscale shopping in the well known district of Nisantasi just 15 minutes walk from here. Being healthy, we enjoyed the many walks nearby to Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall, Dolmabahce Palace, Galata Tower and Taksim Square.
This grand hotel accommodated 140 guest rooms and suites so there is plenty of space, however we found it best to book well in advance.
W Istanbul hotel is perfect both inside and out as it bears the soul of both contemporary and historical treasures, along with modern and timeless luxury .
This includes Ottoman patterns, softly lit hallways, Marmara marble, and sensitive lighting that blends perfectly with your travel mood.
Views can be found of the gorgeous gardens, terraces or cabanas or out to the streets beyond. Of course it has a modern gym and all the features you look for in a luxury boutique hotel.
Returning to our suite, after our day exploring it was great to enjoy a stunning bathroom with a nice hot shower. ‘The Back Up’ plan toiletries kit was a lovely touch too.
