Review:
The Wild Pheasant is a gorgeous place to stay. It is relaxing as it is slightly out of town, yet close enough that you can walk in. We enjoyed one of the penthouse suites on the upper level.
There is a divided main room and so we were able to appreciate the privacy we all needed.
The spacious king size bed and the sofa bed our Explorafriend used was ample room for our needs.
The massive bathroom was also a great bonus.
Here the jacuzzi was used by Explorason for a great bubble bath.
I love the way the suites are wi-fi free so you can relax on the balcony with a drink and not be pressured with technology until you return to the lobby or guest areas downstairs.

Outside is an area with gardens, sun, and bridges across ponds and also a wild pheasant or two!
Downstairs is an adults only jacuzzi/spa /steam room area and a full spa facility. Here I really enjoyed a swim and a rest after all our travels.
This is our 2nd stay here and we enjoyed both times we stayed here.
Wonderfully easy bar and restaurant meals. Fabulous staff. Professional and friendly service. Excellent food. Great hot Welsh breakfast … and the list goes on.
