It is not often we reach a 5-Star Resort where words fail me, but I must admit Banyan Tree Resort on Bintan Island, Indonesia has left me speechless.
So after I give you a few facts about this lovely resort, I am going to let the ‘pictures tell a thousand words’ and let our photos speak for themselves.
Set on tropical Bintan Island, this luxury beachfront resort is 8 km from Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal and easy route to Singapore.
It nestles on the hillside overhanging the ocean and is secluded and exclusive, yet most welcoming.
The resort is stunning in every way. Considered to be a ‘swanky’ and secluded retreat style resort, the relaxing and contemporary villas all have views towards the ocean.
Many suites will feature their signature wooden 4-poster beds, private swimming pools, and terraces – and in some ways, for me, I feel I am in Africa, or the exotic Far-East; not in Indonesia.
A few of the inclusions – Free Wi-Fi, minibars, tea and coffee making facilities, and safes are standard, and there is even a daily choice of essential oil style incense sticks.
If you upgrade to a private villa, then you will have the added bonus of a private infinity pool, outdoor sunken baths, and/or spa treatment rooms.
Restaurants are plentiful. A complimentary lush buffet breakfast is offered each morning in 1 of their 3 restaurants.
Restaurants and cafés serve Italian, Thai, Western, Singaporean, Indian, and Indonesian dishes to name a few cuisines that may be served here.
There’s also a private beach, an outdoor pool, and a bar, plus a golf course, a spa, and a kids’ club. Water sports are available.
There’s also a lovely sandy private beach, an outdoor pool, and a bar, plus the property has a golf course and a Kids’ Club.
The Banyan Tree Spa is also their specialty. The Spa Rooms seems to go on forever – there are so many – and is even available privately – they’ll come to your villa!
So if you are looking for style and sophistication in a luxury resort not far from Singapore, then Banyan Tree is the place you need to book for your next vacation.
The photos has tempted me to go Indonesia and stay here.
It is a lovely resort – Indonesians are so friendly and give great service and it is a beautiful place.
