A to Z of Top Things To Do For Kids In
Langkawi, Malaysia
We’ve just returned from the most fabulous week in Langkawi – which is a tiny island off the coast of Malaysia.
We had so much fun we decided to put together an A to Z of things to do there for kids.
Please share this article – it is a great resource that took us days to put together – thanks
A – Art at the 3D Art Museum
In the same complex you can visit the Art 3D Museum; ride the world’s steepest cable car called Langkawi SkyCab to the mountaintop; walk the suspension Skybridge for a panoramic view of the island; and visit the 6D CineMotion.
Hours of fun with illusion art, and interactive art pieces. Great for .selfies’.

C – Cruising at Sunset
We took a dip in the Andaman Sea which was a load of fun; ate the most delightful banquet, ate a gourmet buffet, drank and laughed as we watched the sunset off in the distance, and finished the night with Karaoke singing “We come from a Land Down Under”. Five-star service all the way.

D – Duty-Free Shopping
Langkawi is Duty-Free, so make sure you leave plenty of time (and baggage space) to shop.
We experienced some of the best services in the world at an amazing little store when needing accessories for our Action Camera. Prices were fabulous, and the service unbeatable.

We so enjoyed the second part of our stay at the luxury retreat Ambong-Ambong. Set amongst lush rainforest, this little piece of hidden paradise is fun.
Monkeys swing down in troops through the trees morning and evening, and the staff even chauffeur you up to your apartment.
Fabulous service and stunning apartments which come with the option for breakfast in your room (fridge and microwave included), or dine at the restaurant. A market-fresh traditional breakfast is an awesome option offered too.

Q – Questions
Trees with Rubber? Where Does it Come From? Just because kids are on holidays doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be learning all about the traditions, cultures, geography, and more. We use a world-schooling approach, so loved it when we stopped to learn about where rubber comes from – thanks to the knowledgeable staff from GC Butler Travel & Events.

R – Rice Padi Planting and Dining
Kids (and adults) can ‘get down and get dirty’ while learning about rice and have fun planting in a rice paddy at Laman Padi. Learn all about the history of rice and rice farming at the Rice Museum.
Mum can enjoy a body or foot massage while the kids have fun and learn.
But wait – there is more! You just have to eat at the restaurant over the rice paddies at Laman Padi. Loads of fun, relaxing, and fabulous Malaysian food.
